Default #WF96 Voluntary Service Action - Replace tank leackage diagnosis

I just created an account at mycarfax and apparently there is 1 open recall for my car, dated 4/29/2916, for "#WF96 Voluntary Service Action - Replace tank leakage diagnosis".

Anyone knows what this is about? I am not supposed to take the car for service till next year... shall I worry about this one?

Had it done last week, although mine was coded WF77-Replace tank leakage diagnosis module. Replaced a pressure switch and filter.

No idea as to the particulars, and I've given up on attempting to have my SA provide more detailed information on specifics. Can't really blame him though, as it would add to his workload.

I just did the same thing and called my local Porsche yesterday. They said no big deal. Takes about an hour to change. I am having it done Friday

Do you "have to" do this by a certain date? Will it be OK if I just wait 8 months and do it when I do the regular service?
