Default Instrumented test results for 991.2 base, any other tests to confirm?

So I frequently read autohome.com.cn. Their instrumented tests are usually slower than tests of the same cars by car and driver or motor trend. However they just returned some ridiculous results for the 991.2 base. See charts below:

The chart descriptions are in Chinese but they are pretty self-explanatory:

They also tested the 991.2 S, which returned a 0-100km/h of 3.53s, 11.54 0-400m and 199.54km/h trap speed.

These are 0-100km/h times, which are generally 0.2 secs slower than 0-60!
These are so much faster than the official times... and this site, as I mentioned before, usually tests slower than US publications.

Have people seen any other instrumented test results to corroborate these numbers?

I've read a couple of mag tests where they measured 0-60mph times for the 991.2S PDK/Sport Chrono quite consistently at around the 3.5 seconds mark (in dry conditions obviously).

Thats mental I think the numbers are a tad inflated no ? realistically 4 sounds to be about correct. I can tell you from my three test drives the torque comes on so quick it rips you into the seat. Cobb Tuning Dyno show 380 torque and 382hp at the wheels, accounting for 15% loss your at 450hp, if I can get 500 out of a tune I'm good. Any more would be "uncivilized" lol

To robbie, the thing is this site never inflates numbers. In fact almost all of its numbers are slower than car and driver. Just look at the AMG GT S. Car and driver has 0-60 at 3.0 secs while this site's test was close to 3.7 for 0-62mph.

@Zer0cool - understandable, no disrespect on your information, I am awaiting a 991.2 C4S as well, but I don't thing it can do these numbers, those are hyper car numbers, personally am I going to feel a one second diff ? No. All I can say is, it whips you back into the seat hard. The torque at such low RPM's is ingenious. Read excellence magazine, has article on the man who was responsible for the new motor and sound.

Porsche usually understates their 0 - 60 performance numbers.

This is a great site for Porsche 0 - 60 times:

http://www.zeroto60times.com/vehicle...-60-mph-times/

2017 Carrera with pdk is 3.9 sec zero to 60.
2017 Carrera S with pdk is 3.7 secs zero to 60.

I believe these times.

For the 991.2 C4S, PDK, SC and Launch Control, the Technical Information section gives
0-60mph as 3.6sec.
That's what I expect.-Richard

Yeah the c4s w/ pdk and sport chrono is quoted as 3.6 by porsche.. and I would venture to say that is a slightly conservative number I would believe it to be around 3.4-3.5

I believe those are porsches manufacturer claims which could be conservative so I don't think you can take that for gold

Close: The Porsche web site states:

2017 Carrera with pdk w/ launch control is 4.0 sec zero to 60.
2017 Carrera S with pdk w/launch control is 3.7 secs zero to 60

Woah,

C&D instrumented test confirms these numbers almost exactly.
http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...ra-test-review

0-60 in the base 911.2 in 3.4 secs; this is in line with autohome's 0-100kph in 3.7 secs.
C&D shows quarter mile in 11.9 at 118mph, which match autohome's numbers almost exactly (0-400m in 11.92 at 189.7kph).

Amazing results! This may be the best bang for your buck car in the Porsche range! Or maybe out of all production sports cars!

I can't wait for mags to instrument the 2S and the 4S. I'm really curious whether either will post a sub-3 0-60 time.

That is highly unlikely with a car out of the box, maybe with a tune.
