Fitting Winter Tires on Stock Porsche Wheels
Hi there. I have searched RL forums up and down, and having trouble nailing down an answer to a question about fitting winter tires (Michelin Alpin or Pirelli Sottozero) on to stock wheels. I'm interested in ordering the RS Spyder wheels for the 991.2 C4s. Here are the wheel specs:
8.5 x 20 ET 49 with 245/35 ZR 20 tires (front)
11.5 x 20 ET 76 with 305/30 ZR 20 tires (rear)
Michelin states that the 295/30/20's should not be placed on a wheel larger than 11" diameter. But, I've seen several posts here on RL where people have put that same tire on even the 12" GT3RS wheels. I'm aware that buying a wheel/tire setup is also an option, and I've done that before. I'm just more interested now in keeping one stock wheel set and swapping tires out as needed. Thanks for any advice you can offer!

You should be fine. I put Michelin Alpins on the stock centerlock GTS/Turbo S wheels, which have the following dimensions:
Front - 9.0J x 20 ET51
Rear - 11.5J x 20 ET48
No issues.

OP, I dont know if your car has SPASM or not, mine does, and I put stock size Michelin PA4s on and I got rub on the front right passenger wheel well. There is a bulge in the liner on the right that isn't there on the driver side. Probably some electronic modules.
Anyway, the rub isn't that bad, only on hard over left turns.
I'm in a '16 GTS4 on the black centerlocks.
