Default 991 GTS + Forgeline GE1 - Pic Thread

As mentioned elsewhere I recently ordered a set of Forgeline GE1's in satin graphite finish to run in the summer. Keeping my Michelin PA4 winter tires mounted on my stock GTS CLs, will be a nice option to change things up in the colder months.

I am of course extremely happy with the Forgelines, build quality is top notch and the fitment/finish is perfect. Love that they are still dark in keeping with the GTS theme but now have some actual contrast as opposed to disappearing in the wheel wells. MUCH easier to clean too, I can easily reach my entire hand through the spokes to clean the barrels! Car certainly feels a bit more tossable too as there is a fairly sizeable weight savings over OEM.

While it is no substitute for a proper photo shoot (hopefully coming soon) I snapped some pics after a thorough top to bottom wash this morning. Hopefully these look ok, ended up using my phone since the camera battery was dead of course. Enjoy the pics!

The satin graphite color is tops. Just enough lighter than black to give them more definition. Seems to match the headlight outer ring perfectly!

You'll find yourself spending more time doing the wheels now. Those barrels needs to be spotless! When clean, they look unbelievable.

What is the official color code/name of your GTS?

The blue matches very well with the satin graphite!

Thanks all! The wheels are awesome and I got a few comments from people yesterday while out for a drive... a couple on the wheels and the rest on the colour + sound.

That would be Sapphire Blue aka the best/fastest colour available for the 991.

clean spoke designs always look better imo, esp on modern cars

Are those new wheels the same width and offset as the OEM CL's?
