Thanks! In California they did not allow me to only have 991 GTS because starting with a number is only for random plates. I don't understand the logic but I had to start with a letter.

Other than the P, I like that the plate has the model info and it's not redundant with the badging.

People are confused by my plate. "Isn't that a 911?" Yes, but my favorite band of 26 years is 311. Silly but it makes me smile.

avail again after 45+ yrs , this black/gold old school - style fully embossed plate fits this old school- inspired limited edition model ...seen a lot of them on new American muscle cars, esp Mustangs, Camaros and Challengers
( also avail from DMV generically / serially numbered )
