The factory guards are made by 3M and usually start turning yellow within six months.
I replaced the factory guards with Xpel on my white 991: they're clearer right from the get-go and hold up pretty well. I would say it's reasonable to change the Xpel guards every two or three years (depending on driving conditions).

Mine from Suncoast have been on almost a year and holding up just fine. I also have the magnet ones that I tried the look first. My car now looks naked to me without it. Picks up the black accents on my car.

Mine stayed on at 150+, on the back straight at VIR.

PCNA has the original black stone guards from the 997 Speedster in stock at Atlanta distribution center. They fit 991 GTS and are the real deal.

How did you get them so perfectly placed? I have magnetic ones and I can never get them perfect and I have unlimited tries.

Tried to contact Magnagrafik without luck to see if I can order a set for delivery in the UK. Anyone know of a method to get a set for a 911-50th?
