A watch is jewelry for men. In the days when earrings and necklaces were not acceptable, watches were (and still are) a means of adornment, the display of wealth, and an expression of status. With jewelry, design and the quality of materials and craftsmanship are preeminent. If all I wanted was an accurate, durable time piece, there are plenty of inexpensive digital quartz watches that would be better choices. Mind you, there are those irritating batteries that die unexpectedly and pollute the environment.

to me, watch is just a toy now.. i just thought it was fun to bring in those pictures since we are talking about watches....

I've always been a watch guy, although my collection has been parred down a bit of late, here Is one I think goes nicely in my Black Edition C4; Omega Speedmaster Michael Schumacher Ltd. Ed. (550 pieces) in Rose Gold. We all love toys

50% of its original price is pretty good on trade in. We'll see if that holds up due to technology and the advent of the Iphone with the new generation. Hope it does since I'm vested.

What is this value retention crap? You're supposed to buy an Apple watch and then throw it in the garbage in a year when they do a software update that makes it too slow to use. It's much better for the stock price that way.
