I drive my PDK car in manual mode 90% of the time or more. I typically drive in sport mode as opposed to Sport Plus.

48 years of driving Porsche manual tranny sportscars, so with this first PDK, nothing but driving in manual, on my new Carrera S Endurance Racing Edition with X51 PowerKit, and only in Sport or Sport+ mode. Dont like lugging my engine, and strongly prefer downshifting for deceleration and engine lube benefits, but do not downshift below 2nd gear for engine braking. Cannot stand automatic mode! My cruise target is 3000+ rpm, except on long boring drives where the thrill is absent. Mine is used for pleasure only, mostly for sunny day blasts, PCA events, and car shows and cars & coffee events.
For me, retired engineer, is not a car. It's a toy, hobby, pastime, passion! That's why I drive mine in manual Sport or Sport+ mode...

Still not as enjoyable as a true manual even in traffic though... less to do so more boring.

Only in manual here, on my PDK Carrera S Endurance Racing Edition with X51 PowerKit, and always in Sport or Sport+. Dont like lugging my engine, and strongly prefer downshifting for deceleration, but not into 1st for that. Cannot stand automatic mode! My cruise target is 3000+ rpm, except on long boring drives. The auto shifting pattern is too frustrating for me.
I also don't manually downshift to 1st when coming to a stop but apparently many folks do so the jury is out on which is best/worst for PDK longevity.

I drive mine in manual mode all the time, including in traffic. In fact, especially in traffic. I don't like the way the auto mode upshifts too quickly and shifts unnecessarily.

I flip mine into manual before leaving the garage. I don't see the issue even in traffic as their is no clutch to have to play with in a heavy traffic situation.
I use both the stick when I am driving back roads spirited or paddles in more calm driving.

I am a MT guy. All my personal (as opposed to "family" cars) were MT cars. My previous 3 911s were all MT CS/GTSs. Currently on TTS which is PDK only. I daily drive my 911s so this one is a 50/50 auto vs manual modes. When in auto mode, I like the fact that I can shift gears even in auto and the car seems to have enough intelligence (AI in action ) to stick to a gear I selected for long enough for me to decide if I want to shift to another gear or leave it in auto to it's own devices. I also appreciate available "coasting" or neutral option. I still miss my clutch though..
In manual mode it is very entertaining and enjoyable. And needless to say with TTS it is endless torque. Love it.

Just took a drive around town (normal traffic) and decided to use auto mode in sport.
It just reinforced why I always flip to manual mode before leaving driveway.
