Default Cure for wind buffeting

I don't generally go for or comment on aftermarket goodies. However I got so fed up with the constant buffeting in the cabin when driving with my window down that I decided to try the AWE tuning foil. Since its now just a molded black plastic piece (no longer carbon fiber) and only $80, I figured no real downside. I installed it yesterday (about a half hour job) and went for a ride today. Typical speeds of 50-70 mph with driver window down. WOW - no buffeting at all. And equally important, it looks totally stock.
Definitely a good product that works.
Just passing on my experience for what it's worth.

I also installed these yesterday and agree... they do look stock and fix the buffeting. They might be a little pricey for what they are, but they get the job done.

I may have been one of the first to install the air foil. I have the carbon fiber version. Yes, it's worth every penny! Really does the job.

Onedae- what year is your car?

I took off the trim piece on my 2014 and the screw wasn't there, so that means I would have to take off the door panel to install these.

Wonder if they would stay on with 3M double-sided tape?

Mine is a 2015 Carrera S. The screw should be there on a 2014. Are you sure its not there? - its easy to miss.

With the top down, there's no buffering issue.

Just ordered yesterday. I used to cure the buffeting by tilting up the sunroof, but now I don't have a sunroof, so hope this works as advertised. The buffeting at track speeds is fatiguing.

I don't think Cabs have buffeting issues top up or down.It is the shape of the coupe windows that are the culprit. It is neat that so elegant and unobtrusive a change to the airflow as the AWE solution totally fixes it. If it works like my little spoiler hack, it need be installed on one side only.

ordered. But am I the only one that thinks the car should have been made with these or something that eliminates the buffetting?
