Front License Plate Installation?
I is t best to go to the Porsche Dealer to get the front bumper drilled and front license frame installed or better to go independent detailer or Porsche mechanic. Looking for a really clean job, if there is such thing! Thanks in advance for help or suggestions!

If you must get one, I advise going to a dealer. The have a template/jib for precise placement. Takes seconds, they'll do if for free -- go get a soda in the lounge then, you're off.

Been debating between the Skene and the Rho, just to have it on hand in case I get a fix it ticket in the Cayman. Decided to go with the Skene, but went with the short one as recommended on his chart for the 2014. Hope I never have to use it, but I'm gonna test fit it to make sure it's the right one based on your comment.

I ordered the short one for our C2s and although it fit, I had to tilt the bracket way forward at the top to get the plate mounted. The next size up worked out perfectly on this car.

Agree with pulsing up the size. I measured mine and ended up one size longer than Skene recommended, it fit perfectly - can't imagine how much cussing would have been involved with the installation of the small / recommended bracket.

In my state you must have a front plate, so I used the OEM black plastic plate holder that came with the car and drilled two small holes for stainless screws. The bracket is self-centering so it's very easy to do. When I sell the car the holes can always be filled with bumper plugs if the new owner doesn't need the front plate.
