mabf355, your collaboration on the Options Sheet was invaluable! (Always good knowing someone who's been knee-deep inside Exclusive.) Can't wait to share once The Baron is back stateside.

Congrats - loved the write up!

How are you planning to deal with the ED and wrap?

That's the BIG question Dalema. I was hoping to do paint correction/wrap/nano near Stuttgart. Unfortunately, Porsche's preferred vendor does neither paint correction nor Xpel. (I suspect his not offering paint correction on new cars is out of fear of insulting the factory.)

If I can find a reputable, quality vendor I'll wrap the car overseas. If not, I'm going to cover it in Tractape, drive what'll look like a used condom throughout Europe (photo shoot anyone? haha) and then PPF the car right once back in the States by someone I trust.

Since we have to wait until June, can we at least see the 993?

What a great story and what a car 👍🏼 I'm honored to be a little part of this car and congratulations on both babies 😀 My grandson and your son can go out driving together and share car stories 😜 Can't wait to see the final product 👍🏼

Sure thing, 66mustang. BTW, my first car was a '68 Mustang Notchback (210ci, 3 speed!) which I daily drove through high school.

Thanks Abuelo! Lots of family outings in our future. It's inevitable that Radyn and 'Junior' will meet over some cars.

TorqueChap, since you're doing Euro delivery have you thought about getting the photo book?

Negative Rueben991. I decided to focus on options that were car-centric. Color-matched luggage, the photo book and the like were quickly discarded to maintain focus on customizing the Targa itself.

That having been said, I did roll with a painted key and matching pouch because those two options are just too fun to pass up.

Thanks Highyo. The 'standard' color PDLS just seemed to work better with what I was trying to accomplish. The goal from the very beginning was to create a classic and clean look.

Very cool. I am lucky that the Mustang was my first car too. My father bought it for me when I was 15, and I still have it 22 years later. My avatar is the car, and some of his collection.

Beautiful Turbo, and can't wait to see the Targa
