Arena Red interior help
So I am set on Arena Red Turbo because I've had the Arena Red 993 Poster since I was a teen. I want an interior that is not boring. Will a partial Bourdex/ Black interior go well with this colour?
I have seen red on full red cars and it is a bit much.
I'm thinking of getting the partial Bourdeax and adding Black seat centres from the Z options to give the interior a little less red. What do you all think? This will not be a daily driver.
What goes with Arena Red exterior and is sporty?

Arena Red is/was a great color on the 993 back in 1996-1997.
So, AR is available again for the 991? Or are you going PTS?
Since you asked, I do not think any of the red leathers will work well with the AR exterior.
Back in the 993 days, the most common colors paired with AR were Cashmere and Classic Grey. So, maybe do something similar in today's leather offering.
Black looks great with AR. And was pretty rare pairing back in late 90s.
Black leather would work great in the 991 with today's cooled seat technology as a daily driver.

If you want the interior more sporty:
1) Do some painted interior trim
2) do the black leather and maybe bordeux red inserts
3) is there an AR deviated stitch option?
Lastly, are you doing PCCBs? The big yellows really pop against AR. The red calipers not so much. Back in the 993 days, Porsche offered a caliper color called titanium (silver). May want to consider a caliper color other than red.

BTW, it's fascinating that the color options aren't one uniform price.

A bit of a history lesson, this is the only instance Porsche offered the "yellow" factory painted caliper in a non PCCB (not available yet in late 90s) car.

I actually tried to get PTS calipers on my GTS, but Porsche will not paint PCCBs. Yellow is a trademark color if it goes on calipers these days and for good reason.

Don't know if it still holds, but in 996 days titanium calipers signified AWD, except in the case of BigRedBrakes on the Turbo, of course. So you had Black for base 986/996, silver for 996 C4, red for 986S/996 (same brakes), and red for 996TT/996C4S.
A weird anomaly was the 986 SE 550 Spyder, which got silver calipers to go with the GT Silver paint.

2. I was considering this but I lose the red stitching on the dash and doors that comes free with partial bourdeuax.
3. No unfortunately closest deviated stich is bourdeax. So i was thinking get it free on the bourdeaux/ blk interior.
Arena Red is PTS right now.

Hey... This may help. There's another active similar topic thread you may find useful with some red & black interior pics.
