Made this prototype for knee brace. Locks you in at the track. Just slips in and out for easy removal. But I love it and leave it there. AFter final test at the track weekend , will make the final product. It will be done in the matching alcantara and red stitching, to look factory. (Sorry I am not trying to sell these. LOL Go to any upholstery shop. They whipped this up in an hour.)

Slides in and out

Locked in filling pocket. one piece.

just being honest, but this is silly. The seat, not a knee bolster, should hold you in place.

And if it doesn't? If it works for the OP I doubt he thinks it is silly, or that you think it is.

Exactly. I have 18 way adjustable seats for DD comfort. Ideally for the track I would have a race seat that held me, with a roll cage that had a 6 point harness to strap me in.

In lieu of that, it is ridiculous how well this works. You are fully supported to where, my butt doesn't even leave the seat anymore over dips. Its crazy that such a simple thing, works this well. It plants you.

Slight outward pressure on my knees and I am locked in. It gives full feedback of what the car is doing. If you track, show this to any of the instructors at the track, and I guarantee not one will say its silly.

All of them will get it immediately.

It might "look" silly with the door open. But close it and you immediately get it.

“Slight outward pressure on the knee?” You just proved my point. The seat, not your legs, is supposed to keep you in the seat.

You have completely missed the point. The seat is NOT HOLDING me. The seat is a failure. IF the seat did what it is meant to do, there would be NO need for what I made. But guess what? The seat is not holding me.

So I made this. The alternative is to get a race seat. As I said, I don't want a race seat in my Daily driver. The seat is great for 90% of what I do. The other 10% I have this.

Everyone knows the seat is Supposed to hold you. It doesn't. So I made this. If you don't get that, you are not cornering hard enough.

Without this, My right knee hits AIR. Nothing to support. The chair does nothing. Its a comfort seat, not a race bucket seat. My knee cannot reach the door to brace against. Maybe you have long legs and can reach the door.

Two rear deck carpets, graphite, one with the "Carrerae 4S" logo in red. Plus as a freebee, clear front side marker lights via Reeves Porsche, Tampa.

Rennline grills for the front radiators in black. Next week.

Cool...pics would be nice! Reeves puts them on every sports car they sell without even asking...I wonder if someone requests that they out the orange ones back on.

I'll post some pics after it stops raining and I wash the car. Drove it in the rain, gave it some throttle and it just raised up and took off, no drama.

Reeves didn't have any side lights in stock so had to wait for a resupply from Germany, they sent them over night from Tampa today. Plus had dinner on them two nights ago via a $50 gift card they sent me as well.

A nice touch. I wrote them a thank you and they appreciated the feedback.

My 2014 Porsche 991.1 Carrera is perfect. I did buy a new set of tires when the car turned five years old.

It's my fifth 911.
