I've wanted custom wheels on cars for about 40 years but never managed to pull the trigger. I finally got myself unstuck and moved forward with what I think is one of the best out there. I managed to get a good deal on some lightly-used 20x9" and 20x11.5" HRE P101s with 45mm offsets (C4S fitment equivalent to 12mm and 13mm spacers) so my wheel wells will soon be filled out quite nicely. Forged monoblocks - 22lbs front and 24lbs rear.

The gold wasn't a good fit for my car, but HRE will be refinishing them for me as soon as next week. I'm not a black wheel man myself, but I was strongly considering HRE's brushed dark tint until the sample they sent revealed that brushed dark is almost the same color as agate when viewed from many angles so I decided I did't want to go with a monotone look either (brushed dark would have been grand on a silver car though!). The lighter tint they used to have is no longer available, so I'm going back to my old-school preferences and just doing brushed clear which will allow the brushed forged aluminum to shine through and contrast nicely with the car.

I decided to go ahead and add some new Michelin Sport 4S's as long as I'm remounting and rebalancing. I just have to say that Tire Rack is amazing! I had seen the 305s were scheduled to back in stock yesterday morning (the 20th) and ordered them while they still listed them as on backorder in the early morning. They came out of backorder schedule by midmorning and they shipped them via UPS that afternoon. I just received them today at 1:30pm!!! That was exactly 30 hours after I placed the order. Simply amazing!

I'll post a follow-up after it is all put together and on the car in just a couple of weeks. Here are some photos of the ingredients at this point.

Brushed Dark Clear - Very close to Agate!

The glossy brushed clear I'm going for.

Default Ultimate Cupholder + Yeti

I have the ultimate cupholder, but was still not comfortable using my 20oz Yeti filled with coffee on my commute. Came across a product called "Stop It" that plugged the openings in the lid and it was smooth sailing to work today.

Super pleased, and enjoying piping hot coffee once at the office. No spills at all.

Although not "today" since the project took a week - dark tinted tail lights, satin black ceramic coated original exhaust tips, black license plate frame, and black lettering. I started with the taillights as a bit of a joke, but then I came to like the smooth dark look. Not for everyone to be sure but it grew on me. Removing the chrome letters wasn't much effort (floss and a hair dryer) but clean up and buffing was a chore. Porsche Bellevue was very aggressive on pricing and they used factory templates for a fast, accurate, and very inexpensive installation. (Note that I purposely pushed the photo contrast and saturation). And yes, I realized my tags were out of date.....so I bought new tabs today as well.

That's the nicest refinishing of a hood crest I've seen!

Thank you! I designed it myself.
It was made by a user (intrepidagent) here on RL.

Congrats!! My 993TT TechArt is PTS amethyst with a LTS matching interior. I could gaze at that paint color for days.

Where did you buy these? Tirerack doesn't show them in the 20" sizes. Did you get them in the 19" (235f/295r)?

I should partly own Suncoast by now:

1. Frunk Liner
2. Trim Removal Tools
3. Aluminum Look Gas Cap
4. Window triangle trim in gloss black

Before installation of window trim:

After installation of trim:

Really looks awesome. Very nice upgrade.

My girl after a nice bath and polish:
