Rotor Hat Paint
I bought my Rotor Hats some Hammered Silver paint. It’s a a small detail that to me makes a very nice difference. I also touched up the calipers with Guards Red Porsche touch up paint (Pictures were taken before I touched up the Calipers).

I just did my new rotors this weekend. I used 2 base coats of VHT Silver Caliper Paint and 2 final color coats of DupliColor Silver Caliper Paint. Planning to do 2 more coats of VHT Clear Gloss Caliper Paint next week after the 7 day cure period.

Lot of little stuff for the incoming T: Key fob parts, frunk protection and liner, etc... Plus lining up paint correction, PPF (front 1/2 of car), and ceramic for the rest. Fun!

Here are my fronts newly finished with painted new rotors and pads. Used Dupli-Color Cast Coat Aluminum Engine paint. With my wheels I didn't want a bright silver finish and this paint fit the bill very well. Do not let the cap on the can fool you, it's not as dark or brown as it shows and actually almost exactly matched the factory grey paint.

Thanks
Well thanks but the days when I use to masking tape off the pad surface area are now gone. No tape, just spay away and let the pads take off the excess paint. And don't forget to paint the outside edge too .

looks great. I did the same thing with letting the pads clean up the paint edge. I think it works better that way anyway.
Sounds like Ike quite a few guys are focused on the same details.

So far, have installed PPF, 70% Ceramic Tint, Clear LED side markers, Red & Black checkered Cocomats, X51 PowerKit, and Cargraphic cat delete pipes on my Black 991.2 C2S Endurance Racing Edition purchased new in late June.
Last night, in a moment of weakness and maybe one or two too many, I ordered an all carbon fiber rear wing assy on eBay. I chose the one with the intake scoops shaped like those on the GT3. It could be near 2 months b4 receiving it and getting it installed. Not sure if I will have any of it painted. Am I crazy??
