Default Texas SH 130

Finally got to drive the 911 on SH 130 which is a Toll Road with 85 MPH speed limit. Had to pick up my daughter at the airport in Austin. As most Texans are morally apposed to Toll Roads, there is little traffic on this road. All I can say is HOLY COW!!! the car holds the road so well at high speeds. As my daughter as been gone since I got my car, she had not had a chance to ride in it until yesterday. We were both impressed with the handling of the car. The music of the exhaust was intoxicating! If anyone is in the Austin San Antonio area and have not yet tried out SH 130 I highly recommend it!

I was on that road, but in a Honda Ridgeline.
Would love to ferry on it in the 911. Btw, I-10/20 out past Monahans is 80 mph, and highway patrol is reasonably generous. So...

And, no tolls! Makes the long distances of West Texas a lot more entertaining on those drives to the west coast, Vegas, etc...T

I'd say they are pretty smooth! 220 in an 85.

I-15 through most of central Utah is posted 80 mph with 84 usually safe. I drive it at around 82-83--safe from tickets while covering ground quickly.

Oh yeah, it is desolate. On our first trip to west Texas in the P car, I kept thinking - man, I hope that can of tire goo is all it's cracked up to be!
