Default Changing seat belts

Anyone done it? Approximately how much would this cost? Think having some red belts might be a fun way to cheaply customize my interior. Would want to do F + R if it wasn't too much $$.

Instead of buying oe ($$$$$$$$$), contact JP at Fall-Line Motorsports. They have a connection with a seat belt manufacturer that can do tons of different colors. Its a fraction of the cost of doing oe. and you CANNOT tell the difference, same material, same thread, same stitching, same everything. This company also manufactures race harnesses that are used in A LOT of pro racing cars.

I have neon Green in my Raptor!!

I replaced them in my GT3, suncoast has the factory belts as I recall its approx $700 a pair ... I had my dealer do it, mostly because of the trim removal ... and
of course the tensioners...

your dealer should be able to do it for about 2-3 hours of R&R...

Pair as in front and back or pair as in just the front left and right?

This is probably my only regret with my build.

The GT3 only has front belts; but if you look at suncoast they are $700 per pair so if you are looking at F&R then its gong to be $1400+labor ...

I'd be concerned about warranty issues with replacing my OEM belts with aftermarket product ... not too mention that this is presumably a retrofit of
the OEM h/w (incl pyrotechnic tensioner)?

Yea I don't think I will do it, that's a lot for some seatbelts, I can add color some other way. I also don't like to touch anything that has to do with safety, such as steering wheels etc.

Oh well, something to add to the list for my next 911!

i checked this out a while back and it was $1000 for just the fronts (red) installed at dealership. you can do some other things for a lot cheaper, and the red is not bright fire engine red like the seat belts.

Great info, guys! Sounds like it's expensive ~$1k at dealer for just the fronts, but if I get it done should do it at the dealer w/ OEM parts. Thanks!

I am thinking about replacing mine (Racing Yellow) too as it's getting dirty. I changed the front belts in my 997 Cabs many years ago as it was quite simple. It took me less than an hour. However, with the side airbags I did disconnect the battery just in case.

I changed my seat belts from black to red. It was about 700 a set with PCA discount and 800 or so for labor.

I still have the OEM black ones I may sell if anyone is interested in all 4.

Already tried everything, I guess this is the price for having light color seat belts.
