Yes, terrific color. Not keen on the interior combo personally. I see it in Espresso.
Waiting for Larry...

What does everyone think about the new steering wheel? I thought I liked it at first but the more I see it I don't, and I'm not fond of moving console buttons onto a little wheel - the steering wheel looks very busy. What do others think?

I have tried a car with that steering wheel and found a number of issues with it.

It is smaller than the sports design steering wheel which I am used to and the first thing I noticed was it obscures the outer dials in the binnacle even more than the SD wheel.. I could not find an angle of adjustment you could move it to to stop this.

The wheel feels cheap. All the black and chrome bits are plastic, and flimsy plastic at that. The chrome looking inserts and black screws... all cheap plastic.

The Ferrari style manettino is the same, cheap plastic which feels like it could snap of the steering wheel at anytime.

The multi function buttons work well and fall to hand fine but the feel of them and their operation is not very special and this does not encourage you to use them.

The 991.2 I took for a test drive had that steering wheel. I quite liked it for a couple of reasons.

Firstly, the buttons are exactly the same as my Macan Turbo so it was very easy for me to simply jump in and use them.

Secondly, I also thought the manettino dial worked well too. Much easer than fumbling for the sport/sport plus button on the centre console.

I also liked the size of the wheel being a fraction smaller.

But I do agree that the quality of the buttons and manettino dial could be better, just as they could be in the Macan.

I took these in Portugal about a month ago for the world launch. The color is pretty cool in person, the one I ordered for our demo is that color and 2 clients have ordered the same.

It works very well. Don't think too much.

Gosh! Color is in the eye of the beholder. I had only black or silver Porsches save one dark blue 914 over my last five Porsches. I loved each. I now have an Agate Gray GTS that I think is a great combination with the Carrera S Silver wheels and Yachting Blue interior. In others words, I chose to not select the GTS standards of Alcantara and CL wheels. Rarely does a day go by when I park the GTS and there are 2-3 people who are salivating over it. In other words, there is a phenotype that love Agate Gray/Carrera S Silver wheels/Yachting Blue interior. There is also a phenotype that love the new Graphite Blue. I respect all! We should respect each and not denigrate others' opinions. After all, we are all lovers of the car!

I think the steering wheel will be just fine if its similar to the one in the Macans. I do miss that currently on my GTS.
