Default Door creaking

I meant Seat Creaking, not door. I don't know how to change it now.

I have a 2014 991 and I've brought it in several times for various rattles, squeaks, and creaks. The last time whenever I would learn forward and then back in the seat (like when you're looking ahead for traffic) it had this really annoying creaking sound. I thought it was from the seat-belt, but apparently is was from the actual seat.

They fixed it, but also said that they tested 2 other 2014 991s and found they also made a noise. Now I'm hearing something that sounds like it's from the passenger door vibrating when I'm driving with no one in the passenger seat.

Has anyone else experienced this? I'm almost getting embarrassed to keep taking it in, but I also expect to be able to enjoy the car without distracting noises. None of my other cars have ever had problems like this.

Don't be embarrassed. Get it fixed. That's what the warranty is for. You can also tell how good your dealer service dept is based on how they diagnose and fix such little things.

I took mine in for a random little rattle coming from the back usually at highway speeds. I completely expected them to come back with "sorry couldn't find it" or "sorry couldn't reproduce it" but instead, I was really surprised. They found it and did a thorough fix -- pulled the carpet, greased and re-insulated the C-pillar. Initially I even told them the wrong side, but they still found it.

Does anyone else have a passenger door rattle when the subwoofers are playing? Whenever music comes on that has a decent amount of bass, something inside my door freaks out.

I had the same issue and my dealer fixed it for me. They took the seat out and put felt between the leather and seat controls. On their first attempt they only used a few patches. When I went to pick it up the second time, they told me that they used a lot of felt. To do this they took the steering wheel and the seat out.

Problem is resolved.
