I assume this is a problem related to PDK cars? My car has a manual and I have never noticed any hesitation.

Sometimes I feel something in the drivetrain, like I spun over something in the road, and maybe that is all it is but it does happen from time to time. It feels like the car shuts off for about a millisecond.

Haven't noticed it in my PDK C2S.

or maybe it is my imagination. The car runs like a scalded dog. I like the reaction I get from my sons the first time they experience the extreme g force. That is well worth the price of admission.

I've never felt this in my 2014 PDK. Hopefully I never will!

I've never experienced any "engine stumble".

I just finished the two year service on my 2014 Porsche Carrera 911.

My C2 has no issue as far as I've noticed.

2013 C4s manual stumbles between 2,000 and 3,000 RPM after that is fine.

Mine still stumbles. It's bad. I've been posting about it over on the other forum. Stumble is usually at 2500 RPM, but with a big stumble when accelerating through 3000 RPM. On moderate acceleration I get stumbling throughout the 2-3K RPM range. Seems to be worse with humid weather, and on first drive. If I drive for a half hour, stop the car for a half hour, then drive again it seems to be better. Had a PCNA regional tech drive the car and just told me it was "normal" due to all the sensors and transitions going trying to deliver torque.

I disbelieve and still have a hard time driving the car because each drive just upsets me. Merging on to a highway should not having me lurching and stumbling to accelerate up to speed.

It's not a PDK issue. Mine is manual. Car runs very well above 3200 RPM.

I stopped posting about it here because too many people here just told me I was driving it wrong.

Edit: Here is the detailed summary I typed up for my latest dealer visit about this: https://i.imgur.com/EAYEEwF.jpg

Here's the update..
Affected cars developed this problem at different times. 2k, 4k, etc
Affects C, CS and X51.
Affects PDK's and manuals alike.
Tried fuel additive.
Tried a multitude of gasoline brands.
Tried no ethanol gasoline.
Tried 100 octane. (expensive)
Tried TPS resets.
Tried having a conversation with PCNA based on logic (which was a sad spectacle).

The reality is that they don't give a damn because the Kool-aid keeps selling.

An owner in Hong Kong said that a plenum solved his stumble.
No one has yet to attempt replicating his plenum solution...but I'm open to crowdfunding.

my guess would be that if X51 cars have also demonstrated this stumble that a plenum change (IPD) would not cure this, since the X51 modifications are
similar (in fact more sophisticated than) IPD plenum... ymmv

There was one recorded X51 owner (Money2356) who developed the stumble.
When I referenced his problem to PCNA (after he turned the car in for a GT3), their response was "He obviously wasn't driving the car properly".

Not sure where exactly you go when faced with such an idiotic comment...
