Default 16 GTS Cab arrived!

Ordered July 15, build date mid September, delivery to Dallas October 12. Now she has to sit until I am ready to ship to San Antonio. In between order date and delivery date I was promoted and am relocating. Bad news is longer wait, good news is shipping to San Antonio means she goes to Xpel corporate install facility for a full PPF treatment. Then opticoat. Planning for the battle of the black and I think I'm going to win this time. Either way I'm pumped!

Congrats on the promo!

You'll love the OptiCoat Pro.

Nice interior. Red with black. That will look awesome top down.

Thank you! I struggled for while with red interior but after sitting in another GTS I went for it. Can't see from these pics but there is some more extended leather red stitching on the dash. Happy with the outcome but oh the drama getting to the decision!

The thought of beautiful black with minimized surface scratches really excites me. And the Opticoat Pro for some extra ease to make the dust fall away. Add to that she will sit in a a garage and under a car cover in between weekend drives. Think I've covered all bases.

The tech parking and covering the car puts the rear wing up when taking pics. Not my choice but in certain angles looks cool. I'll be driving with it retracted until speed requires it to deploy. I do like the fixed positions on GT3 and Turbos (991.1) though.

Yes sir! My daughter knows to keep her distance when passing my current 997.2 and even more so when it was dirty after a drive. I love the fact that her auto IQ is now very high!

Default DFW to SAT

Just a unsolicited thought. I took delivery of my last Porsche and it was 500 miles from home. I look into borrowing a trailer and towing it. The other option was to have it shipped. I decided to drive and that was the best experience for me ever. Except for ED. Road from DFW to SAT is all expressway. Factory recommend a trip to break in the car. It is a neat experience. A chance to bond and learn your car. Just a thought. Have Fun!!
