It’s weird. I will definitely bring it up tomorrow before talking delivery.

Picked up my 2019 last week and they are clear. Mine is a C2. I wonder if it's a GTS thing?

Congratulations on the new car.

I took delivery earlier today. The turn-signal, running lights are clear. The photo was taken just when it rolled off the truck, and the hazards were on. So the photo caught the lights just as they flashed orange. I feel a little dumb not thinking about that, but it stupidly didn't occur to me that those were also turn signals; thought they were just running lights. So all was well.

Awesome 90 minute ride home taking mostly back-roads.

So I got my car back today from having clear bra applied. I use a high end place here int he Seattle area and they are phenomenal.

I also had them do a special project - some custom striping.

I wasn't going for the standard racing stripes. In fact, I wanted something less aggressive, and more on the elegant side.

I'm really please with how it turned out.

Before:

After:

The black is a satin black, but the gols stripes are a speckled gold. I love how the black continues on to the glass sunroof, and how the gold matches in with the crest. And of course, the red/black/gold combo are the German flag colors (I was born in Germany):

Here's the rear - also beautiful workmanship:

Now that is just plain classy. Very nice!

Since I'm also in the Seattle area - can you share who did the work?

Edit: Nevermind - I spotted the name in your photo!

I'm still hanging out here in the waiting room... but the Grand Venus is finally cruising through the Golden Gate and should be moored at Benicia soon!

I ordered a set of winter wheels/tires for my incoming car and they arrived relatively quickly. I stopped by the dealership today - they've been "on display" behind the parts counter for a couple months now!

As I think you already know, the wait will be worth it!

Default Loney in the delivery waiting room...

Hey guys - I think I'm getting one of the LAST 991.2's. I just closed the build this week and it's slated for a March build, with a May delivery.

Whoo hoo! But you've all received yours by now so it's a little bit lonely here in the delivery waiting room.
