Finished the deal on 1/16. Arrived at the dealer this AM. Must be close to a record - it's by far the fastest of any of my orders. My Targa was ordered in October 2016 and delivered July of 2017 (it was PTS/LTS, but still).
ALP install Thursday then off to the detailer before getting parked for a while. It's a C4 but Tire Rack was sold out of Alpins for the year and figured I can wait till Fall to buy a set.
I took your advice and added the brushed aluminum shift ****. From the configurator, it appears this also adds deviated stitching to the lever boot. I haven’t been able to confirm that, but will post pics when it arrives.

Well my long awaited (ordered in Oct) 991.2 C2 build has made it to port in Emden. Its been so long since the order was placed (only allocation my dealer could get me on the base) it was kind of forgotten and although it won't be here till May it seems real again . Read that some people were getting early delivery but mine has stayed on the original schedule .

So happy for you. Based on how much I like my C2, I'm guessing you will think this car was worth the wait...when you finally get it.

That has been the trend, lately. Porsche is pushing them out really fast. Is a good trend.
My SA had bad information -- possibly confusing me with another customer. But the ship is actually passing through the Panama Canal today, so should reach Benicia soon.
I didn't have to wait actually, found mine at one of six dealers in the Bay Area. But still delighted to have what, from searching nation-wide inventories, I think is a pretty rare combination: Carrera S Cab manual w/ RAS, PSE and otherwise light options list (apparently this was the PCNA Executive Demo spec).
