Perhaps part of the reason is wanting to help answer the questions of others so they don't have to do all the investigating we did?...on the other hand, that investigating was fun and helped pass the time while our cars were being manufactured and transported. ;-)

Hey guys, this is my first post on the forum. I was lucky enough to get an allocation for a C2S with a V250 fixed date of 3/15/19. With a V900 date estimated to be on 5/31/19, I'm guessing that I will be one of the last 991.2 S' produced. To say that I'm excited about the purchase would be a gross understatement. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading about everyone's order progress and look forward to being a part of the thread.

Wow - a March build! I also thought the December builds were the end of the 991 run!

Congrats - that's a beautiful build.

+1 on the leather interior - I think it really finishes the car.

According to my dealer, Porsche of Tampa, there were only two C2S allocations left for the U.S. market. Definitely happy to have gotten one of them.

Rhea Leader arrived San Diego Port this AM!

Won’t be long now & no more tracking the car’s progress.
Probably will not get delivery till 1st week in January 2019.
Passing Customs & inspection & getting on a truck probably slower due to holidays.

My 991.2 Targa is an April build with an expected May delivery. Mine is through Porsche of Tampa, too.

Checked with my dealer and they don't have a ship name yet. My expected exit production was also 12/14 and it was definitely not showing completed on 12/5. I loaded up on (too many) Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur bits so maybe that sets me back. I think all those things get fitted as the last step after it exits normal production. It could be that mine's going to linger at the factory through the holidays.

Glad to hear I'm not the only person waiting for a 991.2. I have a Carrera 2S on order and just heard on Friday it will be a June delivery! This after several months of back and forth with the factory. It's a bit later than I expected. It should be one of the last of the 991s in the US. The Dealer also couldn't predict when 992s would actually show at the dealers in the US, nor had any target dates for 7 speed availability. My expectation is probably 4th quarter at best. My build is as follows;

Yay! Bishu Highway is anchored off the RI coast, just waiting for tomorrow to dock at Davisville. Three days after that, Jax and they can offload my baby! Can't wait! At least the ship is trackable (without satellite) again
