Jonathan, you are going to love the espresso/cognac interior. The combination looks great and the natural leather feels fantastic. So much more luxurious than Porsche's standard leather that I've had in my prior 911s.

I ordered a couple of the P exclusive options that you added and perhaps my favorite is the extended interior package dashboard trim in leather. Its a bit pricey but very nice to see the espresso leather and deviated stitching everytime I approach the car.

Thanks - I agree. My previous 911 was a Carrera White Cab - with blue top and blue interior. Was disappointed when I saw the interior - color and texture.

That interior looks stunning! I can *see* how much softer that natural leather is.
Now time for the proper break-in... which I found wasn't as hard as I thought - even when babied, this car is so fast.

I ordered a carrera gts in agate gray and delivery is in mid may. I had Atlanta PEC delivery scheduled but my SA called and said Porsche had canceled it and now I will take delivery at the dealership. Anyone else had this issue? I had wanted to do the Carson PEC but they were not accepting deliveries yet according to my SA. Dealer sais they would try to make it up to me somehow with a day at Carson, hopefully they come through.

I ordered mine with Atlanta PEC delivery and at some point Porsche NA contacted the dealer to say that it would add at least 6 additional weeks to the timeline. (Due to overbooking.) At that point I said no thanks, will take it at the dealership. At the same time I asked for a free day at PEC at a later date, and Porsche very generously said No.

Kayjh: It is a beautiful sunny day here in Halifax. I'm on my way to spot your car! My son use to work at AutoPort unloading cars from the ships while at university. He would sit in the union hall waiting to be called. They are very particular at who they get to drive the new cars off the ship. I'll see what I can find out. Stand by...
