First posting here (if I remember correctly ... ;-) ) – ordered mine yesterday. Expected delivery in July. Can't wait, such a looooooooooong time.

Nice build, 18 way seats are awesome, congrats!!
And also, I don't know why everyone is bashing the Bose system, I think it's really nice.

Thanks! Yes, I loved the 18 way seats when I tested them, they fit me as if they were made for me. Found the 14 way just not even close in comparison. Must be a body shape thing as most cars here have 14 way seats and there must be a reason for that besides the price difference.
Regarding Bose – I really didn't like it very much in the 991.1 (2015 model) I tested, but after some fiddling it was tolerable. The problem with car stereo testing is that you need to take some time to set it to your own liking as they are often set to weird parameters by previous testers. Anyways, in the 991.2 I felt it was worth the money over the standard system, especially as I wanted the car to be a comfortable GT, not too loud, not too harsh, comfortable and classy. So that all went along. And the Burmester is just not worth the premium for me personally. Not in a car at least.
The 911 will be my daily driver, to and from work, shopping, weekends. Everything. It won't be spared anything and I expect to love every single day. It's a pure luxury, but it's something I dreamed about for a while and now the dream is coming true. "Only" about 3 1/2 months or so ...

Shaginwagon. . my C4S is still in Jax - it arrived the same time as the Tranquil Ace did. My dealer is less than 5 miles from the port and we are on day 9 since unloading. Dealer said PDI and transport are backed up because Panamera's had two fixes in PDI and deliveries delayed from January until March because of EPA. That is was "caused" the backlog. . still doesn't make me happy

Yes guys, it was on Tranquil Ace. I'm pretty sure I only got it because I contacted Porsche NA and basically set an ultimatum. I may have been a little too harsh on them (in hindsight) but I got the car!

Might be Columbia Highway given it's ETA and the fact it's on it's way back from DVV… https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais...a0f096a798815f
I think you might be right about the ship though. My delivery is estimated to be April 28th and the actual ship transit time to Halifax is about 9 days, so I doubt the car would make it to the dealership on the 28th, if it doesn't leave Eden very close to the start of April.

Keeping my fingers crossed (assuming that is our ship).

I extended my current car lease until April 15th, but it has to go back on that date. I have a restored 1976 TR6 with 40,000 original miles on it that I'll daily drive from then until my car shows up.

This just in......
My car has left Emden aboard the Athens Highway on Mar 28.
Currently it's scheduled to land in Halifax Apr. 8.
Originally it was scheduled to depart Emden April 7 and arrive Apr. 21.

Now, if we could somehow look at a current high resolution spy satellite picture to see if our cars are in the parking lot.

Marine Traffic Update: Ship is stationary and hanging out just outside the Emden port entrance. Was supposed to dock 9:20PM local time on the 30th but now showing 1:26AM local time on March 31st, so basically on time.

How long between production and arrival in Halifax?
