I found this video better than the one from Suncoast. I also covered my flathead screwdriver with a micro towel so as to avoid any scratches on the paint (I did not have any interior trim plastic tools handy).

The video does not show well how to unclip the connector. Basically, the tab is on the flat side of the connector facing the body of the car. I was sweating trying to remove the first one. Once I learned how much force to use, the second one was a breeze

I would not use a hard edged tool like a screwdriver, whether or not wrapped in microfiber, to remove the lens from the body. There is too much of a risk that you slip and scratch the paint. There is no need to do so. The key is to use pressure and slide it to release the tab on the back. Look at the back of the new unit and you will see what I mean. If you feel you have to use a tool, get the plastic tools used in car stereo shops for removing interior trim pieces.

No tool needed if you strap on some rubber surgical style groves. They grab the plastic lense nicely as you move the side marker back.

.. just a little bump, we sell tons of these on eBay and are tired of paying eBay fees!

If you order from our website please use coupon code "RENNLIST" for 10% off, that brings total with shipping on these to $132.50 shipped in the US.

I agree just push back and in on the rear. If you're having a trouble I'd just go to the dealer rather than risk damage. But it really is pretty easy- maybe a tad more force than you think but they do come out.

It's easy. Replaced on my Cayman and now on my 911. All by hand - no tools. Using a tool is a potential disaster. One slip and it's all over.
