Torture for Waiting

Torture for Waiting
As my car is getting closer for the scheduled delivery, it is getting harder and harder to maintain sanity. The car is waiting for the truck in Davisville since 11th of August. Today is the 20th and still no sign of movement. Just called by SA and informed me that the status remains the same since the 11th. Tomorrow is supposed to be the delivery date but I think it will slip this time.
I cannot think of anything else to do in order to pass time. I just recently paint corrected my Macan (took me 3 days) and applied sealant/wax. All my bank transactions are done and just waiting for the paper works and of course the car.
Will have to move this weekend's scheduled paint corrections, glass coating, full frontal paint protection and tinting for next weekend.
At least this forum is keeping me sane.

You'll love it. It will prove to be worth the wait, but I commiserate with you just waiting while your car hasn't moved at all since 8/11. It's obviously made more painful by the fact that the car is on US soil. In the grand scheme of things, it'll prove to be but a delay of a few days . . . stay strong!

I'm in the same boat. I have been waiting since the end of March and the car is meant to arrive off the boat on Sep 8th. The last month is by far the longest month of my life...

Good on you that you were able to do ED. I didn't get the early October date that I requested. Only the later part of October was available. I requested that ED date last April, 6 months ahead. I was only informed on June that the date I requested was already booked. At least I can get the car early. It looks like that everything in Porsche seems complicated and hard. But the car itself fully compensate for the lack of customers satisfactions.
My itinerary was to pick up in Leipzig for a drive around their track. Then do some 4 laps around the Ring. Then down to Black Forest for a nice relaxing cool down. Return the car in Stuttgart before going to Paris. No way to drive my car inside Paris.
