Do you think it is possible to do something like this but magnetic instead of having a sleeve?

Can this magnet adversely impact my iPhone?

Advanced
There are some magnetic mounts for under $10 on amazon/ebay. They use a strong magnet base and thin light metal plate on your phone. I've used them, and the plate can go between the phone and the case. You could put one of those on a proclip mount. They tend to work better when it's more vertical, as when the phone is on an inclined mount like I have, it can spin a bit.

Cool! I want to do something like this as well, using an inductive (i.e., wireless) charger in the car. I hate trying to plug that little bitty, orientation-specific USB plug into the bottom of the phone in the dark.

I use a couple of these vent mounted magnets to hold my phone sideways. Nice carbon fiber finish to match the car trim.
Here's the phone in play.
I also have this floor mounted stick that will hold a tablet. The phone becomes a wi-fi hotspot for the tablet.

T-Design now has a magnetic wireless charger for 911/Boxster/Cayman. Unlike chinese mass market with tiny little magnets, that one is designed for spirited driving/super strong grip. It's absolutely unique in-house design. As minimalist as humanly possible (with strong grip). About size of the credit card and no visible cables. Made in USA.

I use a cheap magnetic mount. I used it in a different car before my 991. I'm not sure if I'll replace it with the Rennline one, or just keep using it. It's OK and does what I need it to, I guess. I certainly like the magnetic mounts more than any of the other styles I've tried.

I like how Rennlist people say what they think, without circling around it!
It's about size of the credit card. It can hold the phone securely on a race track. There are no cables, and ugly parts or any details sticking out.Yes I call it minimalist. Compare to this for some perspective
What part of logo do you find cheesy? In person - it's VERY subdued graphics. And we thinking about making text smaller. But it's already pretty small. May be pictures doesn't relay scale. Snince the device is pretty small, text looks bigger... But we do need our name there. Since we don't have a billion dollar budget - we have to show our name.

I think you’ve done a great job. It’s a very clever solution that I’d be interested in. However, I absolutely would not buy it because of the logo and Monaco graphics. By putting them on there, you’ve made just ‘un-minimalisted’ it. The graphics reduce your potential customer base significantly - Meant as constructive criticism.
