Gas cap filler door.

Hood is pretty easy, too. Just hard to find a box and transport.

Is there any adjustment replacing or does it go on only one way?

Do you have a painted key fob?

The gas filler door cover is very simple to pop-off and even simpler to pop back on.... I posted the steps to do so on another thread some time back... Here's the link: 991 Fuel Door Removal

Hope that helps!

Man, no brainer....do the gas door, unless you need something larger, then maybe the rear wing.

If you can remove rear wing, you could even use one of the two plastic collars that cover the wing struts.

You'd still have use of the car with a wing collar or even the rear wing off of it.

Default parts to paint...

Thanks, I'll try the gas door.
It's a PTS color and they're close...but everything they've had is off, too dark or too gray, etc.
Bought a GT3 rear wing:

Wow! Where'd you source that from? And do you need to modify anything else or is it purely a bolt-on? I imagine unless you have the duck-tail you'll have to reprogram the 'puter as well.

Show us more! Thanks!

Details please. Looks aftermarket. Isn't the shop painting it local? Usually they have your car there too to get a good match and see it in all conditions.

Still love your car color! Driving with my wife today, she said I should have been more adventurous with my color choice. Ha ha. I do like some of the bright PTS colors! Just not sure if it's me and the novelty would wear off. I'll just buy a second 911 and find out! Ha ha.

Slantnose, when are you going to start driving your car and burn through that tank of stabilized 2.5 year old fuel??

Ha-ha, you'll are right...do need to drive it more, for sure!
It's an imported reproduction based off of the $14k original...
...have to replace the latch-panel (goes where existing rear wing is) as wing takes entire place.
I've had it for about a year, but after I put those Fuchs on been second guessing running it.
The PTS color is kind-of difficult for the shop to match also, it's almost pearlesent(sp) & when the match is good inside, outside isn't...didn't want to leave car there for extended time & risk overspray or have sit outside.

Remove the front tow hook plug. It takes ten seconds with a guitar pick.
