Watkins Glen weekend ..... wow
I just came back from a Watkins Glen weekend hosted by Trackmasters.
Usually I do PCA events at Limerock, so it was very different.
All I can say is WOW.
The track is amazing, you get a TON of track time (2 hours per day, so 4 hours in a weekend). I was lucky enough to get a kickass instructor from Niagra Falls PCA club.
I will try and add more later, but just had to share my wonder and excitement after this weekend.
Man I love my car ...

Bumping an old thread to see if anyone is hitting Watkins Glen this spring/summer. I confirmed recently with Phoenix CMR for June 20-21, my first time hitting the Glen and I'm excited! They repaved the entire circuit this off-season and apparently it is even better than before. Should be good times.
Anyone else in the area planning to come out? Would be good to see some RLer's there!

Yeah you should do it! Apparently it is a great session for first timers as there are a bunch of great instructors... I have a friend that is instructing there and he suggested I make it out.

We are all wondering how the re-pavement of the boot has gone. All the dependable markers are now gone, finding the optimal line without the cues should be interesting this year.
