Coping Mechanisms for Delivery Wait?
Okay, now that my GTS Club Coupe is configured and the order is in, pretty much the big loose ends are tied up. Researching and figuring out the details of the order was something that I could at least "do" or of which I could be in control.
So now I wait.
Do any of you sagacious rennlisters who have been thorough this (custom order) before me have any particular favorite coping mechanisms for the wait that you'd like to share?
Thanks in advance!

I spend a lot of time on the configurator (double guessing by build) and also watching youtobe videos of the car...

Not sure why I didn't think about hookers and blow!
I've decided to ban myself from the configurator. It was either going to drive me crazy, drive my salesman crazy or, most likely, both of us.
WEC is a great call. Particularly Spa next weekend.
This helped - I took the bike out for some early morning exercise. For you Bay Area folks - 92 to Skyline to 84 to Pescadero to 1 to 92 and back home. At 6 am the roads were dry and basically had them to myself. Here's 7 am at Pescadero Beach:
And I spent a big chunk of yesterday with some Bay Area (and a distinguished visitor from Katy Texas) 993 Rennlisters at Alice's and then Canepa. Here's a shot from the workshop floor:
For those in similar straits, I'll add an item to the list of coping mechanisms: stay busy with other motorized things.

As much as I'd love to say time will fly by we all know that is not true...

Yeah, it's just sinking in...I'm in for a bit of an unwelcome but necessary wait. It is what it is, but its not going to be easy. Hopefully Concourse season and the 993 will help.
