Would you/do you regret having NO sunroof in your 991 ?

I had no issues with the sunroof on either 911 model I've owned, however this forum helped me greatly in this regard. As I considered the opinions here (about 50/50 I'd guess), I realized that I rarely opened it, and then only at very slow speeds. Before I'd always just considered sunroof a no-brainer choice. No longer.
My GTS is ordered as a 'sunroof delete.'
My sales advisor recommended keeping it, so maybe it does have trade-in value, but I'm glad I left it off. The 'delete' made it easier to rationalize adding some CF bits to the interior. 😄

The Viper Green 991 C4S is going to be such a special car. It will be a show stopper wherever it goes.
Fast forward 20-30 years from now it will be even more coveted because it's a sunroof delete 911.
Just look how rare and unique 993 are with sunroof delete.

I guess I'm in the minority. I freaking love my sunroof. It's not glass but I prefer it this way. I love cracking the windows half way and opening the vent. It allows good airflow and eliminates the buffeting effect. Anyway, I would not buy a sunroof less 911.

I have a glass sunroof and would regret not having it. While i don't have it open all the time, the natural light it lets in is great. I had some issues with it when I first got the car ( rattle etc) but have been fixed and quiet for 2 years.

sunroofs
I've had two porsches that sunroofs. almost never used them.
I had two cabs the tops NEVER went up unless it rained.
I have had several coupes, which I prefer. Noise level can be quiet or not, with just a flick of the window....and NO potential rattles leaks etc. Fo me If I wanted AIR, I'd get a cab.

I couldn't have a car without.
My favorite is driving home from work, sun going down, windows down, sunroof open and enjoying the sounds and drive.
For me not having a sunroof is like wasting time in life...

I an understand the good looks of a sunroof-less car, and why some don't like them. I however LOVE them, and use mine in my C4S and the tow pickup (Tundra) whenever I get a chance. I wish however, the 991 roof was internally opening and not external, I like that look much better.
