It looks like they declined the 40K service (I'm guessing based on service invoice) so factor that in to negotiate final price down on

Folks, continuing to look for a 991.1. Is $63K a fair price for 2014 base Carrera with Premium package, sport chrono, PDK, Bose, 20 inch wheels, Glass sunroof and full ceramic coating? Car has 24K miles.

I think so. I paid $62k for a 2014 c2 with 18k miles, similar options(no SC).

Shameless plug......If you are willing to go $63K for a base car, why not consider mine at not that much more than that. S, loaded, (124K MSRP), No damage, full history, perfect in every way at $68K.

That sounds fair for the current market, although I paid $61K for a similar car (same options + PSE, PASM, Premium Package Plus, 18-way seats) with CPO last August.

You did well, and in CA where everything is more expensive How many miles on the car when you purchased?

To be fair, I had to go outside of CA to find it. I didn't want to pay the CA market adjustment fee. Found it in FL and had the car shipped to me, which was still cheaper than buying a comparable car here. Car had 29K miles on the clock.

SWEET!! One of the best options list I've seen on a 991.1 C2S, and very low mileage. And it sure looks good in Racing Yellow!
Someone here needs to buy this one quick!

They typically tack on $3k or so to cover their end: some used cars are sold with one, some aren't, and price reflects that. Many dealers will give you a CPO/Non-CPO price, the latter of which is a $3k discount if you don't want the warranty.

You can get a CPO from a dealer for $3000, or you can contact Michael (search on the forums), who will set you up with a long-term Fidelity warranty, which is the same warranty, but for a longer time frame. CPO is for 2 years and unlimited mileage, while he writes policies that are typically 4-year/50k and more suitable to our cars. Most people aren't putting 50k a year on these cars, so the 4/50 is much more valuable. Plus, having a dealer CPO a car can be a real waste of money. For example, if you are running Pilot Super Sports on your car, and the stock tire is an N-spec Pirelli (not a good tire!), they will make you buy 4 new tires (probably from them) at an inflated price just to CPO it. Of course, tires have nothing to do with CPO, so it comes across as a bit of a scam. There is a reason many here bypass this in favor of the Fidelity warranty.

At any rate, my car is under factory warranty, so it isn't something to worry about. You can always get an extended warranty down the line if reliability concerns you. Most people find these to be reliable however: the extended Fidelity warranty is very affordable as the insurer doesn't suffer many losses on the 911. If it were a Range Rover, it would probably be something like $2500/year, instead of $900/year.

Got a trade in quote from KBB Instant offer this week for my 2013 991.1 C2S. $59.6k Was shocked. Porsche dealer didn't offer much more but seemed willing to offer more as they "know" my car is quite nicely equipped with techart pieces and a few nice aftermarket upgrades (Arkaprovic exhaust and GTS engine cover and Sport design bumper/3rd radiator) so hinted IF I bought another P-car they may be able to offer a bit more. Hmm...sure. Took the car out of the deal and went with an RS instead for a daily driver! Will keeping my Carrera rather than throw it away! Be careful out there gents!

What is the mileage on your car? Factory options? MSRP? That would help the rest of us (both buyers and sellers) assess that offer.

737gdog, very nice car. Is it an S? Looks like it's not. If you got a $60K + trade/buy it now offer that seems a good price as a trade. I have my 21K mile, $124K MSRP C2S listed here for $68K with a bit of flex for a ready and able buyer. Haven't tried the KBB offer thing or CarMax, but they would set the floor price I bet. BTW, I love the PDK for all around great performance and enjoyment. It's my first non manual Porsche of the 24 I've been fortunate enough to own. ONLY selling because a really nice 997.2 GTS 6MT owned by a friend came up and I want to make that my next Porsche!

Not an S. Based on a nationwide search and KBB I feel like my asking price is reasonable. I turned down a 59.9k buy it now on KBB. I understand KBB is just a guide and the market dictates a cars worth. I am not a motivated seller. Best of luck with your sale.
