HOT FOR SALE: Pick of the Week 991

It's the Base 991.2 I've been waiting for.
Premium Plus, Bose, glass sunroof, PDK, 19" wheels, CPO one owner, 16k miles, clean history. That's it.
Theyre asking $81k but feel that's inflated. What do you think is a fair price?

I've been looking at quite a few 2017 base 911. The $81K with the mileage and CPO is about average for what Porsche dealers are asking, but the build really isn't all that appealing. For me, must haves are SC, strong wants are sport exhaust, 18-way (or 4-way) sport plus seats, manual, and full leather. This particular car has none of the above.
If your musts and wants are different, you are perhaps looking for a daily driver, with warranty, and without a desire for a really sporty (think T-like) build, the price is certainly within negotiating range of a decent deal.

Well, my car is back on the market. The dealer turned out to be a complete flake. Maybe it will find a better home now! She needs someone to appreciate her! The dealer "buying" it asked that I delete the listing before he paid, which of course I did. I will post it back up here once I get it up in the for sale forum.
My wife recently dropped the 991.2 off for ceramic window tint and they loaned her a low mile 991.1 C2S. She couldn't believe the difference; she had really gotten used to the torque and rear axle steering to a point that she said "wow, they must have dropped a lot of weight when they made the newer car". Those factors really affect the dynamics of the car. I think a base 991.2 with RAS would probably beat up a .1 C2S on the track. She also complained about PDK, which we all do when we are used to driving a manual. "what the frick do I do with my left foot and right hand"?

Ditto... For me, PDK without SC is a 100% deal-breaker.

For me, I would rather have the 14-ways over the 4-way seats (the bolsters are too wide on the 4-way to be of any use to me), but I agree, the 18-ways are better. Buckets would be my choice, if they folded!

This looks like a good deal, especially if there is any negotiation room.

Well, I could call out the dealer here by name, although that really isn't my style. The excuse was "shipping is way more than we thought it would be, sorry". I called a good client of mine who is also a shipping broker, and she said $1100 enclosed. What were they thinking: $50 bucks? I am sure that wasn't it however; he was all in on the car, basically begging me to be allowed to take it, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was related to finances of the business. They have some seriously exotic cars on their site. I figured he wanted a local inspection or something, but he never asked to verify anything about the car, aside from the build sheet, which seemed odd. Then again, I don't normally sell to out-of-area dealers; I don't really sell cars to dealers at all. I always try to find a home for them via private party sales: I get more, and the buyer gets a car that would be substantially more money at a dealer, not to mention gets to meet the previous owner and get a feel for how it was taken care of. When I sold my old Tacoma, the guy I sold it to specifically said "well, I was looking for a truck with 150,000 miles or so, but yours is near 200k. With that said, I see how clean your truck is; you obviously took great care of her, and I would much rather have a truck like yours rather than one that has been thrashed to within an inch of it's life, like every other higher mile Tacoma owned by a male under 40, which is to say, all 25 of them on local Craigslist at the moment". That guy eventually passed the Tacoma down to his son, he liked it so much!
Let me just say, when I first spoke to the dealer, he sounded like some South Florida douche (who happened to be in a club at the time) that drives exotic cars and has pretty girls on his arm solely to stroke his ego and burnish his "image". Bad vibe, and completely different than most P-car people I have dealt with. In fact, that is the opposite of how every single Porsche person I know acts. I would always prefer to sell my car to a private party enthusiast, but I had little interest on this one.

my car was black/black pdk with gts interior package so this isn’t too far off
The wording of the ad, not to mention the crazy low price of $72k is raising a LOT of red flags for me. Ask for the VIN.

Hi guys. Ive been looking for my first 911 for a few months. Found a 16 with almost no options
vin: WP0AA2A90GS106599
its only got 10k miles and looks real clean. It stickered new at 87k, asking price is 76800. I made an offer but was turned down,
My question is what price yall think would make this a HFS. I just thought that 10k off sticker is not enough depreciation for a 3 year old car with so few options
Am i wrong? Thanks for any advice.

Thoughts on this deal? It's not my perfect build, but I'm thinking it's decent for a first Porsche, and if its a good deal, I could always upgrade in a few years
