HFS advice >>> the whole USA is your marketplace >>> Rennchecks are plentiful especially with the HFS network >> airline tickets are cheap >>> enclosed transport is cheap as well.

Don't limit your searches. Find your dream car

Cars will come up, but DO NOT hesitate if the right one at the right price comes along.
Yeah. So glad I bought when I did. Car with my specs easily $8k to $10k more than I paid.

Yup. I told my wife this was going to be the case, especially with my difficult requirements: cab, manual, full leather, not black or Luxor interior, vented seats, PSE and Sport Chrono. As I said in my delivery thread, that Venn diagram has very little overlap. Fortunately, it was at a well regarded dealer, and only 1,600 miles away meant I could drive it home.

Be patient, Spring is always the worst time to buy a sport or collector car. Most folks wait to buy for good weather, and sellors often do as well. Things always loosen up. Trust me, i own 10 cars. It never fails.

Airline ticket? Why bother. Just save $ for more premium gas.

I luck out bc the dealer has a good reputation here.

One of the factors that STG may not know is that there is a group of Cayenne Diesels (and other 3.0 tdi owners) who expect $ coming from VW. The early VW 3.0 tdi owners are having their cars bought outright. The later ones (such as the Cayennes) are getting some $ compensation. I bet some of them (me lol) are/were looking at the new/used 991 market. I have already seen one contributor in the Cayenne board buying a new 991.2. So, I am not alone

Yeah, I am pretty much out of the market. Gave up in the manual cab base for the spring early summer. The car I want is too rare to rush. Maybe in the fall I will find something.

With a base model 991.1 search, I'm sure there are much better buys and much lower mileage.

In your neck of the woods. Check this out:

$104K MSRP and CPO. Try for low $70's. Clean CarFax too.

Looks very clean from pics too. Tried to find something similar to what you had found.
Thanks, we bought the original one I posted about for her today for $65. Which I think was fair and she's happy but it was a bare bone spec for sure.

I feel your pain. I placed a deposit on my dream 14 C2S. It was listed for 1 day. Figured to sleep on it, got stuck negotiating over $400 on a $81k car. Agreed on a price. Sent CC info for out of state deposit. Dealer calls me back an hour later to say they sold it to a local buyer who offered more money.

If you find a good one jump on it! I'm still kicking myself for moving too slow.

...and not even close to HFS.

About 12k over general depreciation for a 3 year old P-Car.

Is there a term coined for the opposite of HFS? Cold For Sale?

Is his price really that off for a Turbo? Seems like GTS are only a little lower. If this ultimately goes in the low 110s isnt that pretty good? I admit I'm new here . . .
