How does the refund on the Max Care work? They prorated the remaining portion and refunded to you?

Yes, exactly. The warranty had already paid out well over $3,500 in repairs (window switches,door panels, seat motor.. etc).

Less than a year ago I got a diminished value check for 11k on my 2013 C4S.

This guy got near 20k I'm guessing.

Are you in California? I thought the prorated warranty refund is only a California thing (I could totally be wrong on this).

If the car was local and I could have a trusted body-shop owning friend take a very close look at it, might have been a semi-decent deal.

But sight unseen, *way* too many potential issues that don't make it worth the discount. To me at least... And with 991.1 GT3's hovering at $105K, not sure a $100K .2 GTS is all that great of an option with or without accident damage!

I had CNA extended warranty and received a prorated refund when I sold my previous Porsche. I live in Iowa and purchased the policy from a South Carolina Porsche Dealership.

AZ. I'm 99.9% certain the prorated warranty refund is nationwide.. Only being California sounds like hogwash.
