^^^ Exactly. Most potential buyers of pre owned 991 cars most likely are looking for those popular mechanical options. I doubt they think of PTS as something important. I suspect you are in the minority in this regard. On the other hand, if it was a GT3 touring, it would be a different story

I think the kind of buyers that would consider paying a premium for a PTS car are exactly the same buyers that absolutely don't want an accident history or paintwork...

So personally I'd put it at 15% off sticker ($144K) for being a used 2018 with no CPO ($122.5K), another 15% off for the accident damage ($104K) and any additional bump for PTS completely voided by the accident.

Considering you can now pick up a nice 991.1 GT3 with NO accident history for $110K or less, I personally can't see paying the same for a repaired used .2 GTS.

PTS was a deal until it went to $11-13k. 2018 it was like $7k and before then $5500. It is a very unusual option on non-GT cars so I personally think desirable. But the accident really hurts the value especially because the paint is part of the value. And even for a GT3 Touring, PTS is maybe just getting back what it cost ($12,830) and even then it seems to be color dependent. You need to find the guy who wants the color you have and likes the spec etc. By my math, just over 20% of North American GT3 tourings are PTS. Maybe I am selling it short, but I don’t view PTS, at least in 991, as much different than other options with the exception of the 911R. Now a PTS 911R or 3.6 turbo or 997.2 GT3RS 4.0 .... megabucks.

Bottom line: $107k.

I am no body expert but looking at the invoice for the accident repairs it seems to be quite extensive. The headliner was out, the door was off as was the sill plate, there was paint work to the rear quarter and they had a glass company doing work to the windshield and rear window. Again, I am no expert so I don't know if this was just necessary to do it correctly or was it because the damage was more extensive than it appears.

Default accident

For me is around 100%. I would never buy one of these cars with history, they make way to many.

Depends on the price...someone may get a heck of a deal on a car that appears to have been repaired properly; not everyone can afford to buy new cars like a lot of here. It will be interesting to see what this car sells for.

This is exactly why even minor damage taints a car. He has good documentation of the damage and repairs, yet still there is speculation about it. That will stay with this car.

What is the market on that car? Curious. That accident looks bad but I don't think it would have done any major damage.

I don't know about a 991 Porsche, but on many cars the windshield and rear window need to come out to do the headliner. Now...why they had to do the headliner is a bigger question.

Just as a note, the documents shown on that 991 GTS are the original estimate... Not the actual repair documentation which often as not differs. He is supposedly going to post the actual invoices.

On the pillar, seller said this:

The windshield pillar had to be repainted since the front fender knocked into it during the incident, so the rear tail etc had to be removed and re installed.

Hood is not aligned right. Does that radiator look right to you? I don't think so.

That's a BAD accident and wouldn't touch that car. Not to mention, the quality of the repair looks questionable. Could be a lot of underlying issues under that bandage repair. The value on a 911 with any accident is shot.

Surprised there is even this much discussion about this one.
