Would have loved to have seen the Mexico Blue GTS on the track. If you have any track day or autocross video let me know!

This is a really nice build with low miles - don't know what it will bring but it could qualify for HFS.

Would love to hear your feedback on which one you guys would get? also, which one you think is a better deal

1. 2013 C2 42K miles, black on black, PDK, sports chrono, sports exhaust, asking $50K
2. 2014 C2 22K miles, white on black with black pano roof, PDK, asking $57K

Decisions!! Decisions!!

these look to be very fair numbers. If you can live without SC, I would do #2. 20k fewer miles for a reasonable increment in dollars. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks JLL1011. I love how the white with black pano looks, plus that car is closer, so can drive it home. Dont care too much about SC.
I do plan to hold the car only for a year or 2, so not sure if you have thoughts on which would resell better?

If you're only planning on keeping it for a year or two, then get the one with more miles. Less depreciation and you should have Sport Chrono with PDK. Sport exhaust is a nice plus, too.

I am taking my wife there tomorrow to test drive the new 2020 GLE 450 so I can check it out if someone is interested.

Thanks to HFS, I stumbled across a post by SFZ GT3 wherein he linked the sale page for his RY 99.1S. It turned out to be the exact same 991 that I so desperately wanted to buy from another RLer about two years back, but couldn't pull the trigger at the time. I flew to Florida last weekend; found the car to be absolutely everything it was promised to be; obviously meticulously cared for; and SFZ GT3 and I completed the deal. Despite I-10 from Florida to Texas being one of the least scenic drives in the US (imho), I was absolutely grinning ear-to-ear the whole drive back... After going through three models of the Cayman (987.1S, 981S, 718S) and loving each of them for different reasons, I'm finally in my dream car... (Pay no attention to that tear in my eye - it's just allergies!)

Today, BIL MRY is in his place of honor in the parking garage, and I can't wait to go to lunch and take him out to chew up some pavement.

Cheers, all!

Best,

GPd

Hey guys. Just a friendly reminder .... look back at listings in the past. Please post VIN#, and mileage, asking $, MSRP $, etc ... along with pictures.

This is VERY necessary in keeping a historical timeline on these cars, and makes it easier for viewers here.

Links go DEAD and do nothing for any future reference.

Thanks

Zach, I am so thrilled for both of us! We both chased it before and now we can both say we enjoy the "memories" (for me) and the ride ahead for you. And thank for the kind words. We hit it off from the get go, and even with a few logistical hassles (banks grrrrrr.....) it came together perfectly. I'll be picking up my 2011 GTS, 6MT Coupe (GT Silver/Black leather, Porsche #25 in 52 years) this week and start the "ride/memory" odometer again. See you in a couple of years???? LOL.

Attaching a pic of the handover. Look close you'll see some tears on this end too.
