I love it at that price! You won't find a 997.2 manual with that mileage more than $7k less, and the 991 is a better platform. It leaves plenty of money to do mods if you want to go that route.
Sport tailpipes or aftermarket exhaust?
This bare bones 991 popped up on my radar at Carmax and I have it reserved...now debating whether to have transferred to me. I have been looking mostly at 996/997's and 987/981's for a track toy/nice weather commuter for under 50k. I am not as familiar with the 991 platform and never considered one until now, but the lines of the car are growing on me...seems like a lay-up??? as I would get all the benefits of the newer chassis and tech instead of fighting everyone else looking for a clean previous gen 911 or cayman with the DFI 9a1...
$49,998 with 43k...clean autocheck with 3 owner and always lived in SC. Looks like one of the owners replaced the orange side markers with clear ones? and maybe the stick shift ****? Anyone know or seen this car in person?

This is the lowest I ever seen on any 991. But it’s truely a base with no option, except the heated seat. The way i see it as less thing to break but stillget the amozing engine. I would consider it if the car check out clean.

[QUOTE=raidersfan;15664906]Agree. A bottom end 991 is still a better option than a 997.2, IMHO. For that price, it's a good car to choose.

It is extremely bare bones, but no sunroof? That alone a huge catch. SD steering wheel is another nice touch. Otherwise sounds like a very light drivers build with no fluff and guff that can break down the line. I say go for it.

What do you guys think of this one? Should I stay away from it because it is from NJ
Seems like a good price for what you get. I know the 40k service is right around the corner. I doubt its been done. What MX would you want to do asap if you bought this car? What would you offer? Its at a dealership in New Jersey.

The car max one wasn't an S model. All I know for sure is carfax report
The 20k mx was done at 3 years
The 30k mx was done at 5 years
Not a deal killer for me but I wonder what you guys think of this. According to carfax it was "serviced" at 38,000 miles but it doesn't say what was done.
I should probably know already but what are the approximate costs for the annual MX. And for the larger mx at 40k miles? If I used a Porsche dealership.
Thanks
I understand maintenance are critical part of keeping the car running and maintain the integrity of the engine. But all we need if oil/filter every year or 10k miles, brake flush once every 2 years, spark plugs and coil every 4 years and air/cabin filter change every few years. PDK service every 6 years. That’s all, if you buying a car in good condition but behind of of these schedule maintenance, just add another $2-3k and donplugs/coil/oil/brake/air filter and done for another 4 years or major maintenance. This is the reason why I only buy 911 as weekend car vs Ferrari or Lamborghini because those cars cost an arm and a leg for annual service alone. You can actually do oil change and filter change yourself on 991.

If someone is interested I released the hold...long story short my partners in their infinite wisdom are wanting all owner cars to be equal value (which is higher than this car) so even tho I wanted to spend less and take difference as $ allowance they are 'uncomfortable' working that way...so back to the search
