I believe certain tracks, like Laguna Seca, have very strict limits as well as exact measuring locations, and even something simple like directing the exhaust in a different direction can be the difference between staying on the track or being kicked off for a noise violation.
But yes, it's pretty silly that the dealer didn't remove it before the photo shoot, but it could be worse!
Some of these tracks are so ridiculous. So the sound is redirected away from the "sound alarm" and somehow it solves something?? You still have the sound, just shooting in other direction.

You'd think the dealer would have enough common sense to take off these hideous stickers. Do a tasteful door one with just Porsche or GTS, but just "Carrera" and those hideous rear ones??
