Since we don’t have the build sheets I can only go by pictures. This car has PDK, SC, PSE, 14 or 18 way, Bose, ventilated and heated seats, SD steering wheel, keyless entry, maybe PDCC(?), etc. MSRP should be at least $125k. Need to look at car fax to make sure it’s clean but this appears to be a great deal with a low mileage car. This is at the Ferrari dealership in San Francisco.

2012 Cab w/SC and more of a comfort build. Nevertheless, even with 39K miles and recent service work, a fair price at $61K Intersport moves a lot of older cars.

If what you say is true, your mother paid less than invoice. The TOTAL dealer profit is 9% at full MSRP. If they are dumping excess inventory to make room for newer cars, then perhaps that 10% (or 20%) may have occurred. It is an anomaly. Dealers rarely sell below their cost.
Mine was a Euro Delivery, which costs the dealer 3% of MSRP, but they get another allocation to replace the ED car. I negotiated with two dealers about the remaining 6%, and how we would split it- so I am familiar with the margin.
If the MSRP for my 2018 Macan GTS was $230K, then your "10%+ off MSRP" story would explain the $23K depreciation in 9 months that Porsche of San Diego thinks is "market rate". As I stated in another post: Their Sales GM is ignorant or arrogant, probably a bit of both.

You did ED (free trip = discount), plus what, a 3% discount? That means you did not pay MSRP, so why cite it when complaining about the trade-in value?
As STG mentioned, and what I was alluding to, is they kill you on the trade-in value because they have to turn around and sell a "used" car, again knowing that no one (including you) pay MSRP.
I do not understand your $230k Macan example, but maybe that is because I only have an MA in Econ and not a PhD... Here is a better example: $100k Macan sells for $90k; dealer bids $75k on trade in; dealer sells "used" Macan for $85k. New Macan Actual $ =/= Used Macan $
P.S. I found my mother's Macan deal, bought my S4 for 15% off, and got our GTI at 27% off MSRP because I know how to "HFS" new cars too

What do you guys think of this one. They said they can do 84k... Might try to get 1-2k more off

Looks like a nice car and not an easy build to find. $82K-$84K with CPO is a great price. Love the Sport Design package on the CAB.
