Beautiful car and great price. Lots of tasteful mod value as well.

But the owner sounds like a peach.

I wouldn’t inquire for that alone.

Only intelligent questions...here's one: how do you spell Vorsteiner?

Oh is that what he was trying to spell when he typed 'Vorensier'??

I was wondering what kind of rims and diffuser he had.

He shows one decent picture. The rest are crap and he isn't interested in sending any more pictures.
He really doesn't want to sell his car.

STG - how about a primer on selling your car to an out of state buyer when there is a payoff at the bank? What's best way to ensure you as the seller get your equity?

That is a question for the bank as each will have a slightly different process.

Yes, if the buyer is using a wire, the receiving bank will verify when the money has been transferred to your account. Typically a certified check the depositing bank can contact the bank it's drawn on to verify. Generally i've always sold to folks who had to pickup or have a carrier pick up and the money is usually there well before the car leaves. Just insist that the cash is verified before it leaves your possession.

^^^ good advice. Don't let the car leave you without being paid.

I always understood that he who holds the title owns the car. So the title possession is likely part of this protection scenario.

Completely agree. "...not going to show it without proof of funds in liquid condition, not interested in sending more pictures out."
The last thing I'd do is bring proof of funds to look at a car; I immediately pass on any ad that says this. What a joke.

Just saw a 14 C4S in the classifieds with over 50K miles, $147K MSRP and asking like $95K

That's a lot of miles for the asking $$.

This idiots ad isn't even worth discussing on HFS.
