Engine work? Would have to get details. Saw it on CarFax too. Not uncommon to drop engine for access.

This is the car that was at Audi North Atlanta just a few months ago. It's further back in this thread, I believe found by STG at that time. Post 12798 in this thread.

Just one more great reason to post VINs! I was very close to pulling the trigger on it at $70k, but gut feeling said not to do it. I have the warranty paperwork for the engine out service somewhere if anyone is interested. It has apparently changed hands again already and is now priced 10k higher at an independent dealer? I'd probably pass on this one. In my case, it was the right decision as my perfectly optioned CPO car came through my local dealer just a couple weeks later! Thank goodness it didn't have a chance to make it to the HFS thread

Wow. Nice memory. I didn't even remember my own posts. I thought something seemed familiar. +991 for VIN #'s.

Wonder why it never sold for low $70's? Had it been at a Porsche dealer with CPO would have sold quick in my opinion.

Anything interesting from the engine service report??

Only remembered because of the emotional turmoil I endured in the 991 buyer process

The salesman at Audi gave me a one day deadline to make a decision because he had a line of "other buyers", which was my signal to run. It did disappear from their website a week or so later, so I figured that it had sold. Maybe another dealer picked it up?

Either way, like I said if someone is interested and can negotiate a deal they are happy with, I have the paperwork from the engine out service I can share.

Given the history, there is no way anyone should trust this dealer. Maybe for $65k it’s interesting. This is why people hate dealers.

But it drove and felt amazing.
Very nice 911 👍 for a very good deal.
That is a great price for a barely two year old GTS.
I couldn't tell from the pictures that it had a blue cab cover. I just assumed it was black.
Why would anybody get a blue cab cover on a red and black car?
Black rims, black badging and blue top???

Figured I'd mention here first, before I put it on the market. I'm selling my 991.

2012 991S coupe
45k miles, non-CPO
Dark blue metallic with black/grey full leather interior
$129k sticker
Hardback 18-way AC/heated seats
SPASM
PDCC
Sport Chrono
PSE
Bose
PDK w/ sport design wheel
Lots of other options -- it took me three months to find this car
40k mile service complete, new tires 1k miles ago
Asking $64.9k, located in NYC region. Selling because I switched jobs and now don't drive it enough to justify keeping it.

Damn your car looked good with the Sport Techno's on it... Much more unique (and IMHO attractive) than the Sport Classics... Sounds like they're gone though.

Conflicted to share this one, but the timing isn't right for me and I don't think I am willing to put up with the apparent cons, but this is a heck of a deal for someone looking for an imperfect daily driver with a lot of life, or to modify for track use. Only 991.1S I have ever seen under $50k, and it is CPO, and it has only 20k miles. Looks to have a lot of wear on the driver seat and floormat, and VIN search shows it should have 20" Carrera S wheels, but looks to have 19" Carrera wheels. That tells me the previous owner either wasn't careful, put on some aftermarket wheels the dealership changed back out to CPO or added when it was traded in, or maybe the car was tracked (also lines up with the options like no sunroof). Someone should be all over this as I can't imagine it lasting long when 50,000 mile examples are still pushing the upper $50's. Maybe a member in the Orlando area can look at it and see what shape the paint ect is in. Wish I could be the one to impulse buy it but would like to see a Rennlister get it:

Clean CarFax and CPO warranty at a Porsche dealer?? Seems too good to be true. Definitely a BUY at that $$.
