STG,
Been a while but it looks like great deals continue. Ended up keeping 997 and buying a 993 which is why I've been quiet. My bro is in market, however and I sent him the info on the above GT silver 991 in LA. Really hope it works out. Cheers

Nice to hear from you! The older models are great too. I find my neck spinning when seeing them drive down the road. They excite me more than what's coming out in the 991.2

By the way, thanks for being a loyal follower/contributor here. You posted here on the FIRST day this thread started back in March. Now approaching 100K views. Amazing!

We've crossed a big milestone. Over 100K views in just 7 months! #3 on all time viewed on the 991 forum. Should be #2 soon. Incredible!

You guys rock.

More than 1,000 views just in the last 20 hours! Hard to believe. Have to keep these listings coming along!

It is a very informative thread for anyone interested in the second-hand market for these cars. So the popularity & high viewership is well deserved! Congratulations!

Thanks Eduardo!

You've got every other subject covered! This thread is small time. All I do is post cars.

You guys want to know anything about PTS (paint to sample), Porsche Exclusive, trips to Germany, Porsche Factory tours, sailing the Mediterranean, wine tastings, or where to eat in Carmel, CA.? To name a few ....

Eduardo's your man! Follow his threads... Geez, that sounds like a Robin Leach TV show.

Lifestyles of the ..... fast and dangerous (Porsche Edition).

Thanks,

George

George/STG991,
You have out-done even yourself on this latest car! In so many ways this particular 991S is stunningly gorgeous. I am very grateful that I have maxed out on Porsche-buying funds, because I know I wouldn't be able to keep from jumping on this one. Thank you for all of your time and effort contributing to this forum.

STG991 Great thread!!! Been checking it for awhile but my color hasn't shown up. So I have an allocation for a GTS but I have to act soon! Is 7% off MSRP good? Thanks

Welcome

What color is that?

7% off a customized allocation/build is very good on a GTS! Last of the NA's

Start a thread and post it. You'll get LOTS of feedback to filter through. Some it it can be helpful.

Other cars sit forever and they discount and drop the price. One of those things that fluctuates. I'd say $10K max on these 991's that we look at. I think the average might be like $7K. Can't say for sure.
I don't think it's absolute dollars but rather a rate of return that they use to calculate the pricing used. It's my thought that they want to make 8%-15% on each up used car transaction and possibly more on new cars.

ps: that used GT silver 991 C2S listed above? even I'm interested in it although it's not my first color choice. hecuva price and I know exactly how that owner feels right now.....that's the price of liquidity I suppose.

STG do you think finding a car for 75k is possible?
I want to get out of my 15 M3 that I've only had for 10 months. I'll get pretty crushed on a trade in so I want to keep the new car as low as possible. I only care about manual, sport chrono, and PASM.

I think a lightly optioned one or one with higher miles can definitely be had for 75K. It's will take some looking, but possible.

If you only care about Manual and Sport Chrono you should have some options. Nothing really out there I saw now, but should be some showing up. PASM comes standard on the Carrera S. Sport-PASM is the optional one that drops it another 10mm.

Three heights:

Base Carrera

Carrera S (comes with SPASM) 10mm lower than the base model)

Adding Sport-PASM drops it another 10mm in addition to the 10mm above. For a total of 20mm lower than base.

Good example of NEW 2015's being discounted with 2016's on the lot. There's a lot out there!

2015 GT Silver Coupe 991S nicely optioned. New!

125K sticker and already marked down to 113K

I'm sure you could score this for 12% off or 110K. Not bad if wanting new. Now's a good time to deal going into winter and picking up the last of the street NA's.
