Yeah, pretty bad. The seat sections can be replaced. Would definitely look into it.

Just curious, how would you go about getting seat sections replaced? Upholstery work or is there another fix

You can buy the OEM covers, center sections, etc. Haven't looked into it, but I know they're available for order.

You don't need to buy an entire new seat for a bad or damaged area.

Maybe heat it with a heat gun and knead it?

2016 991.1 GTS in the RL Classifieds

MINT, MANUAL, and SPASM!

Perfect build!

Price wise, not the hottest HFS price point, but the car is a winner. Hopefully it can find a new home.

Another one of Rob's Hitler videos. Hilarious. Thought I'd share.

I think the fashion gray car is sold. I had a friend who wanted it but he said it was sold. Oh well.

For those of us that appreciate uncommon colors, Park Place just listed a 2012 Ipanema Blue c4s with black interior, 19 k miles, $67 k. Pdk, sport chrono package plus.

Re: FSBO auto loan financing

I have heard that auto lenders have tightened up or are not granting auto loans for private seller cars. Is this accurate or anyone heard this?

If accurate, would be another tough obstacle for FSBO's.

The PenFed site still seems ok with FSBO as it says vin number, dealer contact ( if applicable). They do a lot of loans for older collector cars, which are generally FSBO.

I suppose some lenders would be nervous with all of the scams out there related to car purchases.

Penfed will loan 110% of the NADA value of car including FSBO. The FSBO interest rates are a little higher than new car loans. The way they do it is, they mail a check to you, made out to owner. If there is an existing loan they will include another check made out to lender. I asked them about fraud and they indicated it is rare. There's a clause where you must mail them the title within reasonable time.
