That would be fantastic!

Actual dates won't firm up until the ship has left Emden (hopefully in February).

Lots of good info here. Less than 1000 cab 4 GTS' in the wild. Crazy!

As far as turbo/NA; I have to say that I love the sound of the NA engines. I currently own a 2006 C4S cab that I love and the new GTS is the only 991 that sings to me; I love the Carmine Red!

Anyways, the new smaller FI engines will probably fly but I'll be lucky to see a track once a year once my 3rd child arrives. So I'm thinking a NA GTS cab is the ticket for me but I cannot decide on RWD or AWD? Some guys just ask whether I'll be driving it in the winter (NO) and say buy RWD. So ehn would be the latest I could order a 2016 next year?

I would say just drive them both the RWD and AWD, that should tell you which one you like driving better. Personally unless you need AWD for inclement weather conditions than to me the RWD on the 991 really feels planted much better than the 997 ever did. A huge benefit also with the RWD version and GTS is you get the widebody in 2WD which if you keep the car long enough will be a factor in value as it should be higher IMO.

Incredible. So each model, except for the coupe, was more limited than the 911_50. And the coupe wasn't too far off (~700 more). And the 997 GTS spanned two years, no? I very nearly bought a 997 GTS and sure as hell had fun test driving them. Great car.
