Guys .... IS IT BETTER TO BUY NEW 991.1 NOW OR WAIT FOR FACELIFT MODEL 991.2 NEXT YEAR ?
Considering the engine changes.... But perhaps the most intriguing news involves the legendary 911 and revamped engines that will grace the 991.2 refresh. CAR is reporting that turbocharged engines won’t be limited to just the Turbo and the GT2; they will grace the entire model range in an effort to reduce CO2 emissions and improve fuel economy. 2015 Porsche 911 GTS (991) According to CAR, the base 911 Carrera’s 3.4-liter flat-6 will be downsized to 2.9-liters with a turbocharger and will develop 400hp/400 lb-ft. The Carrera S’ 3.8-liter flat 6 won’t be downsized, but its turbocharger will boost power to 530hp/520 lb-ft. The 991 911 was introduced back in 2011, and the 991.2 is in the final stages of development. Sources: Autocar, CAR

I would wait for the 991.8.1.234, reason being is I have heard through my inside contacts that it will be possibly nuclear powered and also be able to be used as a hovercraft if you live in congested areas!...lol

This question is too easy - definitely will pick 991.1.
There are plenty of time to buy any turbo or electric or self driven Carrera for the rest of your life.
