Thanks guys. Friend flew up to Dallas yesterday and drove home a very nice low mile 07 Z06. Took both cars out this morning on the same route for a spirited run. Friend was amazed how fast the lower HP Porsche was (Z06/505 hp, 911/430 hp). I went around a few corners pretty aggressively and he said "My car won't do that" ! He loved the 911. T

Exterior styling on the C6 Z06 IMHO looks great and they have gobs of power. Interior on the other hand is a bit weak. Not a fan of the newer C7 exterior, just to much going on. The new C7 interiors are much improved though. 02 T

Decided to swap out the Darth Vader head & fog lights for the lighter versions. Realized the darker headlights are matched with the darker driving lights so removed the front bumper cover today to remove them. Met someone on another forum who wanted the darker lights and will be shipping these parts west tomorrow. WIT the plan is to clean things up and install some type of mesh/screening to keep out the bugs and small varmints

Always amazes me how much sh*t Porsche stuffs behind the front bumper on our cars. Pull off a Camaro or Mustang front bumper cover and there are huge voids of wasted space. Behind the rear cover as well.
FWIW I spied black metal screen material at of all places Lowes the other day. It was a really close match to the GT3 screen material. It's beyond me why Porsche would skimp on the front bumpers of the Carreras and not include screens. Crazy. I pull a handful of leaves and gravel out of the bumper every other week.

What amazes me are the trolls that know nothing about Porsches come here to insult someone's car color choice. That guy couldn't afford a set of valve stems off of a 991.

Cleaned up everything up front today in anticipation of installing some black diamond mesh www.customcargrills.com and headlight/blinker light swap. Happy New Year to all
