Default Turbos - 991 vs 997

Base units and assuming the only option on the 997 is PDK.

- Why is there almost a $10k difference in price between the two?

- Is it clearly noticeable?

I'm not sure what you're asking, but I can tell you from experience (I've driven both), the 991 Turbo is a beast.

Neither car has a ton of personality (they both sound like hair dryers or vacuum cleaners), but the 991 is far more refined and does have a bit of a better engine note (and of course more power).

Not to mention four wheel steering and other such advancements brought fourth in the 991 chassis.

Yeah, that's what I was looking for.

To increase the MSRP 10g's in a MY there has to be some added value. I was wondering where it was...........
